Bayharbour is a five piece metalcore band that come from Brisbane, Queensland. Their solid live shows and great fan interaction has made them the area’s most requested band for support slots with big name Australia and international hardcore acts.
The band consists of Jay Sibthorpe (vocals), Nat Patterson (drums), Thomas Bryden (guitar), Marcus Parente (guitar) and Ryan Oxford (bass). Influenced by bands such as Miss May I, Killswitch Engage, Misery Signals, Confession and The Ghost Inside, they adapt the their own unique personalities to this technical and heavy sound.
Quickly gaining speed from an eager young fan base in their hometown, Bayharbour is turning heads with their intense and relentless stage presence which The Music called “intimidating” and “in your face.” They can frequently be heard on Triple J Radio and at the major scene clubs in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.
The band has shared the stage an impressive list local legends and prominent import acts including Everytime I Die, Chelsea Grin, Norma Jean, Vanna, Silverstein, Iwrestledabearonce, Betraying The Martyrs, Make Them Suffer, Chiodos, Bleeding Through, Being As An Ocean, Bam Margera, Burried In Verona and Hundreth.
Bayharbour has a long history of crossover with Mannequin Republic bands, with Dylan Cottee of Road To Ransome, Ravi Sherwell of As Paradise Falls and Josh McMillan of The Last Outlaw previously filling in on vocals.
With several national performances across Australia under their belt and the continued demand by fans and special requests by promoters, Bayharbour has an exciting future ahead as they continue to grow with every project.
