Rumblings that A Breach Of Silence are releasing their third full length album are already starting to pick up the attention of the media, including a recently conducted interview with rising music-scene reporter Essentially Pop.

Essentially Pop took time to corner A Breach Of Silence bass player Blair Layt and got some excellent insight on the band’s new recording project, with loads of details on the actual recording process, the use of multiple studios, their relationship with Fredrik Nordstrom and Henrik Udd and the importance of checking your ego at the door when going into the studio.

Blair also revealed the potential name for the new album, what it was like to play with Sevendust, the band’s plans for a return tour of America, plus insight on brewing beer and drinking rum.

AAA Talk To Bayharbour

Posted on by Mannequin Republic

This year’s El Grande Fest in Brisbane and Gladstone was largely hailed as one of the best local festivals of the summer and will certainly be a top contender for event of the year.

Mannequin Republic was stoked to have our very own Bayharbour as part of the lineup for both shows and for the coverage they received in the reviews for El Grande.  One of the more entertaining media appearances the band made was recently released through AAA Backstage.

The excellent production team from AAA Backstage sat down with vocalist Jay Sibthorpe and bassist Ryan Oxford to go over some of the most pressing issues of the day, including spirit animals, wizard powers, terrible Christmas gifts and party tricks.

They also throw guitarist Marcus Parente under the bus as the laziest member of Bayharbour.  Catch this quick, but fun, interview on the AAA Backstage YouTube channel right now by … more...

Tyde Teases Change

Posted on by Mannequin Republic

Although continuing to play a featured role every month on the hit Metal Of Honor and Metal United Down Under shows around Brisbane, the lads in Trinatyde have been keeping a fairly low profile over 2016.

No official plans have been released, but the band has teased several times on social media that a major change is coming for Trinatyde.  Rumours of new material may spark a shift in the image of the band as a potential release date gets closer.

In the meantime, make sure you check out Trinatyde on one of their upcoming live shows across the east coast of Queensland as the band continues to impress longterm fans and win over new supporters.

Big gigs coming up for Trinatyde in October at Tattersalls Hotel in Lismore.  Check out our events page for more information.… more...
