Happy New Year
Mannequin Republic would like to wish each and every one of you a very happy New Year as we move out of 2015 and into 2016, with many exciting new prospects on the horizon.
For all of you who came out to see shows by our bands, A Breach Of Silence, As Paradise Falls, Bayharbour, Trinatyde and the recently added Down Royale, we thank you for engaging with us and truly hope you enjoyed what you heard.
It has been an honour for us to manage these great heavy music acts and have so much excitement for what is in store for them (and their fans) this year.
We would also like to thank two awesome acts on our roster that unfortunately disbanded earlier this year, This Fiasco and Road To Ransome. We were sorry to see them go, but hear they’re all on to bigger projects and enjoying life, as it should be.
2015 has also had it’s fair share of heartbreak as we lost two members of the Mannequin Republic family way too early: Alex McNulty, bass player for Save The Clock Tower and Glen Barrie, guitarist for As Paradise Falls. Both were true friends and important pieces of their bands. Both will continue to be remembered by all of us here at Mannequin Republic.
Finally, we would like to thank all of our good mates in the industry, old and new, who have worked with us for the year to make our company better than ever, including the fine folks at QMusic and Bigsound, Eclipse Records, Lafayette Touring, SF Media, Vanguard Touring and our mate Tim Price with Collision Course.
We’re super stoked to be doing it all over again in 2016, with new albums, new events and heaps of awesome heavy music.
