End Of The Road
Mannequin Republic regretfully announces that, as with all good things, Road To Ransome have come to the end of the road. Brisbane’s hip, shining, hardcore shooting stars will disband after one last show at The Lab (5 Hubert Street, Woollongabba) on May 24.
After five years making headlines in the underground hardcore scene, Nathan Hibbott, Jake Solway, Charlie Brunello, Dylan Cotteeand Bradley Maddaford will go there separate ways. Personal commitments and new opportunities have lured one of Brisbane’s favourite heavy bands apart and on to bigger things.
On a personal note, Road To Ransome have been the longest serving band on the Mannequin Republic roster and they will be sorely missed around headquarters. We’ve had a blast managing the band and seeing them grow from small Brisbane shows to snagging multiple endorsement deals, performing with the likes of Attila, Protest The Hero, Buried In Verona, All Shall Perish and opening the Vans Warped Tour. The band also made their mark as go to headliners for Destroy All Lines events and built a loyal fan following across Australia.
It’s been a wild ride with so many high points. Mannequin Republic would like to thank Nathan, Jake, Charlie, Dylan and Bradley, as well as past members Benny Cosson, Bec Geldans and Sam Geyer, for all their hard work, enthusiasm and contribution to our company and the heavy music scene in general.
