The brand new clip by Brisbane based power-core group A Breach Of Silence has been a major success for the band, raking in the views to well over 50,000 in the first few days.  Helping us get the word out there have been the tireless journalists that cover the heavy music scene in Australia.

The first story broke on Heavy Mag’s official website on April 23, featuring the full length video for “Vultures” and some quotes from the guitarist Mat Cosgrove and and vocalist Rhys Flannery.  You can check out the full article at

The release continued to be pushed by the fine folks at Bombshell Magazine on April 24, who also published the video link along with a short interview from vocalist Rhys Flannery and the video’s director Col Cadell.  You can read it in full at

Trinatyde Return To 4ZZZ

Posted on by Mannequin Republic

The lads from Brisbane based metal group Trinatyde made their return to 4ZZZ radio for a rocking good interview on The Doom Hippy And The Metal Maiden show on March 23.  The band went live on air to discuss recent happening in the world of Trinatyde as The Metal Maiden flew solo for the night.

Dan, Matt, Jay and Juice discussed life on the road when you tour internationally and gave some great insight on touring overseas, recapping their recent journey to Indonesia for a string of shows last October.  The band also went over the backstory of their recent single “Death Plunge” and the inspiration from the Byron Bay lighthouse.

There are plenty of great moments in this interview, including “feeling like a real live rock star”, plans on future Trinatyde projects and threats against Mannequin Republic manager Tom Byrnes.  All in good fun.

One of the hottest new acts in the Brisbane area is Mannequin Republic’s own Bayharbour, who have been gaining nationwide attention over the last several months playing with some of heavy music’s biggest names in Norma Jean, Silverstein and Everytime I Die.

Now, Bayharbour has dropped an epic new single on us with the release of their first new material since last year’s Reawaken EP.  “Transition” is a well crafted heavy music anthem, as fans of the band have come to expect, with a new tweak to the Bayharbour sound.

The single was released with a brand new music video featuring live stage footage of the band and interesting spliced with old news reel shots from a darker time in the world’s history.
