Huge props to everyone in Melbourne who came out in droves to the double launch party from Feed Her To The Sharks and A Breach Of Silence, proving that Fitzroy is the place to party.
Mannequin Republic was stoked to have 2 bands featured on this great lineup, including co-headliners A Breach Of Silence and our very own post-hardcore heartthrobs This Fiasco, playing alongside Feed Her To The Sharks, Jack The Stripper, Driven To The Verge and Atlantic.
Thanks again to The Evelyn Hotel for hosting another great night of live hardcore and alternative music and to all you fanatics who came out and chucked a mosh with us that day. One of the most unique and hardworking bands in Australia, A Breach Of Silence, have gotten the nod from one of Queensland’s most prestigious arts bodies as they were given a nomination in the 2014 Q-Music Awards.
This year the band has been recognised for their contribution to the alternative music scene with their song “This Is The End” going up for top honours in the heavy music category.
Two other A Breach Of Silence tracks, “Vultures” and “Hang ‘Em High”, have been given the additional privilege of making the “highly recommended” runners up list. They compete for the top prize with the like of Drawcard, Guards Of May and Tria Mera.

Make sure you check out As Paradise Falls drummer Christian Rady on another drum cover recently completed for his CJRdrums side project. This time Christian gets his groove on to “Wild Eyes” by Australian export band Parkway Drive.

Mannequin Republic is stoked to announce that our very own Road To Ransome will be playing alongside American heavy music champs Attila on Wednesday, April 8.
The event takes place at The Brightside (27 Warner Street) in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, where special guests Attila stop on their Australia-wide tour to promote their upcoming album Guilty Pleasure. The event starts at 8:00 pm and tickets are $36.90 through OzTix.
Alongside Attila and Road To Ransome, there are a heap of other awesome bands on the lineup, including Aversions Crown, Ocean grove and Countdown To Armageddon.
