The Darkest Interviews

Brisbane based A Breach Of Silence have been gaining more and more attention from our cousins in America with the release of their brand new album The Darkest Road, garnering rave reviews and interview requests from several of the hottest underground heavy music publishers.  They are all worth a read and thoroughly entertaining.

Bass player Blair Layt talks with blogazine Nataliez World about the ins and outs of The Darkest Road, some of his personal experiences and contributions to the album, touring and working with Fredrik Nordstrum and Heinrik Udd for the second time.  You can read the full article at

Guitarist Mat Cosgrove gives some excellent insight to the folks at Headbanger Reviews, going over the more technical aspects of the sound and equipment used on the album, the recording process and writing future material.  It’s well worth the read for anyone interested in the technical aspects of recording an album.  Read the full article at

Vocalist Rhys Flannery goes off the rails for an interview with Pure Grain Audio in their Purely Provocative segment, talking about everything from road horror stories to crazy stalkers and everything in between, proving the rock and roll lifestyle is still alive and well.  Read the full article at

On behalf of the band, Mannequin Republic would like to thank all the writers, editors and heavy music websites for their efforts of A Breach Of Silence and the heavy music scene in general.  With your support we hope to see The Darkest Road make it to the top of the list of must-own metal albums.
