What A Racket

Posted on by Mannequin Republic

Major thanks to the good people at Triple J Radio for their support of another Mannequin Republic band as As Paradise Falls released a brand new song exclusive to Triple J’s The Racket on Tuesday July 15.

Anticipation has been building for months for new As Paradise Falls material and heavy music fans across Australia have been impatiently waiting to hear what the bad boys of Brisbane hardcore have been up to.

On July 15, Triple J’s The Racket premiered As Paradise Fall’s brand new song “Equilibrium” for the first time heard anywhere outside the studio.  Reaction to the debut has been excellent and fans are even more amped up for the release of the accompanying music video and EP.

Also on the show were interviews with Chelsea Grin and Corrosion Of Conformity, plus great tracks from bands like Upon A Burning Body, In Flames and Motionless In White.

Winter Animus Wrap

Posted on by Mannequin Republic

On behalf of Road To Ransome and Bayharbour, Mannequin Republic would like to thank everyone who made the Winter Animus Tour such an awesome run of shows.  This has been both bands longest and furthest stretch of shows and were stoked to perform at so many different towns in front of so many different fans.

Road To Ransome and Bayharbour made the long trek starting from Brisbane on June 27, playing Condong, Armidale, Newcastle, Canberra, Wodonga and Melbourne, with Bayharbour making an extra trip out to Adelaide.

Both bands were given the hometown honours upon returning to Brisbane to share the stage with Buried In Verona by special invitation as the Winter Animus Tour came to a close and the Midyear Mayhem Tour began.

Massive thanks to all the venues who let us rock on their stages, including The Lab, Condong Bowls Club, The Armidale Club, Hombre Records, Canberra Magpies … more...

New Noise Review

Posted on by Mannequin Republic

Just prior to the release of the brand new Wasteland CD by Save The Clock Tower, the disc was reviewed by New Noise Magazine and posted on their official website.  Reviewer Nathaniel Lay did the honours of being one of the first in the media to break in the new album.

The full review can be read at  It’s a detailed breakdown of the first full length album put out by Save The Clock Tower and pulls no punches.  We were stoked to see Wasteland get a 4 out of 5 star rating at the end and the encouraging quotes such as “This is the introduction to a band that could very well become huge in the following years.”

Massive thanks to New Noise Magazine for their interest in Save The Clock Tower and Nathaniel Lay for the time taken to listen and properly review the album.  Well … more...
