JB Hi-Fi Spotlight

To all of you fanatics in New Zealand, as you are aware by now, As Paradise Falls and A Breach Of Silence are heading across to your shores to party down and rock out the June.

Both bands will be part of the Never Silent 2 Festival in Auckland and for a limited time you can go to the JB Hi-Fi in Auckland and grab albums and EPs from all the bands playing the festival.

Make sure you head over today and get your copy of Dead Or Alive, the debut full length album by A Breach Of Silence and Seasides And Suicides, the 2011 EP release by As Paradise Falls.

Clock Towers and Martyrs

June is shaping up to be a huge month for all of our bands at Mannequin Republic and we are stoked to see our very own Save The Clock Tower make their way from Tasmania back to the mainland for a special tour with Betraying The Martyrs.

Betraying The Martyrs are making their way all the way from Paris to give us Aussies a French-style lesson in thrash as the pump their metalcore and progressive death metal style tracks at full volume across the country.

Save The Clock Tower are super keen to be able to visit you all across the mainland again and showcase new songs from their upcoming full length album, Wasteland which has been rumoured and speculated on for months now and is finally set for release in July.

Sweet This Fiasco Tour

Awesome news for our fanatics in New South Wales.  Mannequin Republic’s premiere post-hardcore act from Melbourne, This Fiasco, are coming your way as part of their special tour with The Sweet Apes.

The fine folks from The Virtue Agency have put together this little run of shows featuring The Sweet Apes from Sydney as they tour Australia with special guests Void Of Vision and invited This Fiasco to be a part of the Melbourne show and the two New South Wales shows.

First, see them this Saturday May 31 at Wrangler Studios (8C Whitely Parade, West Footscray) in Melbourne starting early at 1:00 pm.  This show is all ages and you can get your tickets cheap by ordering directly from the band.  Contact them on their official Facebook page at  See more here.

Paradise Plays Toowoomba

Heads up to all our fanatics in Toowoomba that this Friday evening, May 30, Mannequin Republic’s own pop-core bad boys, As Paradise Falls, will be playing live and in colour for a special licensed and all ages show.

The event is headlined by Rivalries making the trek over from Newcastle to rock the house with their melodic hardcore sounds.  Also on the line up are Among The Vanished and King Hit The Queen.  If you are a heavy music fan in Toowoomba you do not want to miss this show!

Make sure you get to the Toowoomba City Bowls Club (Victoria Street, Toowoomba) on Friday May 30.  Doors open at 3:00 pm and entry is $10.  This show is all ages and licensed.  ID must be shown to purchase alcohol.

Brightside For Ransome

Fanatics in Brisbane are talking about the latest undertaking by Destroy All Lines, a new venue called The Brightside, which is replacing their previous events and club nights.  Mannequin Republic is pleased to have our very own Road To Ransome in the headlining spot of the next show at The Brightside.

Road To Ransome will be rocking out hard as this will be their first 18+ show in Brisbane since the release of their debut full length album, Animus, which was released to the public in mid-April.  The album has received a lot of support from fans and critics across Australia, so come out and hear what the fuss is all about when Road To Ransome take the stage on Thursday night.
