Road To A New Video Clip

In another one of the internet’s worst kept secrets, Mannequin Republic’s own Road To Ransome have wrapped up the filming of their first official music video.

Road To Ransome have a new recording project in the works and in conjunction with that they are planning to release a brand new music video for the first single off their latest effort.

Mannequin Republic would like to thank Thomas Savage for putting in the effort in helping Road To Ransome realise their project and adding his insight and skill on the creative aspect of the video.  Make sure you check out Thomas’s work with Savage Photo and Film at

Stupid Good Time

Cheers to everyone who came out to hear Trinatyde and Bayharbour rock the local pub circuit across Cairns, Mackay and Rockhampton as the two Mannequin Republic bands packed up the van for a weekend tour across Queensland.

The boys in both bands had an awesome time playing in front of all you fanatics and were glad to see so many of you turn up at the events along the way of the Stupid Best Friends Tour.  You made all the long hours of driving worth while.

Massive thanks to the venues, O’Dowd’s Hotel in Rockhampton, CBD Hotel McGuires in Mackay and The Railway Hotel in Cairns for giving the boys a place to rock out.

Both Trinatyde and Bayharbour have more tour plans in the works, so keep checking our events page to find out when these masters of metal will bring their heavy sounds to your town.… more...

Electric Sunset For As Paradise Falls

Brisbane pop-core bad boys, As Paradise Falls, have officially finished recording their latest project at Electric Sun Studios in Sydney.  The boys made the journey down to the big city where they knew the fine folks at Electric Sun would treat their sound right.

The band would like to give a special shout out to Shane Edwards who expanded their minds and didn’t shy away from doing the hard yards in working with As Paradise Falls.  We’re all better off for it.

Shane Edwards might be a familiar name to many of you as his massive list of credits includes Thy Art Is Murder, Northlane, Dream On Dreamer and Resist The Thought.  We are grateful to have him on board with us as this will be one of his last recording projects in Australia.

Dance Gavin Dance Wrap Up

Mannequin Republic would like to send a special thanks to everyone who played a part in last November’s Australia wide tour of Dance Gavin Dance.

On the tour not 1, but 2 Mannequin Republic bands were given featured spots on shows in  Melbourne and Sydney.

First with Ghosts On Broadway playing the opening show on November 8 at the Bald Faced Stag (345 Parramatta Road, Leichhardt) and then closing out the tour with This Fiasco on November 17 at the Phoenix Youth Centre (72 Buckley St, Footscray).

We would like to give a special thanks to our mates at Taperjean Music and Select Touring for picking up This Fiasco and Ghosts On Broadway for the tour and of course the venues for hosting us.

Road To Ransome’s New Year’s Eve

Fanatics in Brisbane, don’t let the ball drop without you this New Year’s Eve, spend the last moments of 2013 in style with swag lords Road To Ransome as they headline Thriller’s UV light event.

Thriller has organised another crazy night for all you scene players to bring in 2014, with ultraviolet paint and black lights galore.  Get a load of some of Brisbane’s hottest hardcore acts covering some of their favourite bands for 1 night only.

You can hear Blink182 covered by Malibu Stacy and New Orkid, Paramore covers from Revelations, A Day To Remember as performed by We Set Signals and Mannequin Republic’s very own Road To Ransome headlining the event with The Amity Affliction covers.
