Wasteland On The Way

The pride of Tasmanian post-hardcore, Save The Clock Tower, are making good progress with their first full album, Wasteland, which has just wrapped up the initial recording process.

As of press time, Owen Broad has pounded out his part on Drums, Luke Vaessen has screamed through his vocal track, Joel Hallam and Tim Westwood shredded through their guitar riffs and Alex McNulty kept it heavy for his bass recording, which officially wraps the tracking for the album.

On behalf of the band, Mannequin Republic would like to thank the top blokes over at Fatlip Studios in Devonport, Tasmania, for getting the job done to start what could be the top Aussie alternative album for 2014.

The tracks are now in transit to the States where Will Putney will put his artful touches to the mixing and mastering at The Machine Shop in Belleville, New Jersey.

Byrnes On Soundcrave

A Night To Everytime I Die For

Mannequin Republic would like to say a special thanks to all the fine folks who made the Everytime I Die show with Bayharbour on October 18 such a huge success.

Bayharbour were stoked to be the main support for Everytime I Die as they rocked out the Hi-Fi Bar (125 Boundary Street) in Brisbane’s West End.  Major thanks to everyone in the band for treating us so well.

We would also like to thank The Fevered for kicking things off and putting on a mad show as well as Soundwave Touring for doing the hardwork behind the scenes to make this event happen.

Ghosts On Broadway’s lead singer and vocal cover enthusiast, Dean Vassallo, has released another cover for you fanatics to enjoy.  A departure from his last efforts of metal and hardcore sounds, this time dipping into the modern R&B playbook for a little bit of Drake.
