Luke Vaessen Goes Hip Hop

Save The Clocktower are unquestionably the hottest young underground rock or metal band coming out of Tasmania today.  The local scene in Launceston may not be the most vibrant in Australia, but there are lots of young talent making their presence known in every genre.

This is the case for local Tassie hip hop artist Cmack who has released a brand new track entitled “Breathless” which features the unique twist of Luke Vaessen, of Save The Clocktower, on vocals for the main chorus parts.

It’s an interesting look at what’s happening in the Tasmanian rap scene and how local musicians band together to help each other create.

You can see the video in full on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_C548LQbWs and hear Luke belt out some sweet, soulful vocals that take him a step away from his usual mode of post-hardcore screaming.
