Road To Ransome Loves Melbourne

On behalf of Road To Ransome, Mannequin Republic would like to thank the many, many awesome people who made the epic show at Musicland in Melbourne a reality.

The boys and girl overwhelmingly agree that it was the most fun they have ever had on stage, thanks to the enthusiasm and free spirit of the fans in Victoria.  Lead singer Ben Cosson said “Melbourne has been amazing to us!” and the whole band agrees a repeat performance is in the future.

A special thanks goes out to James Vernon from Belle Haven for organising accommodation and Shane Bennell of Foundations Fall for lending his drum equipment to the cause.  Also thanks to Valentino Promotions, the management of Musicland and Road To Ransome’s awesome sponsors, CMC Music/Ernie Ball and Saluda Cymbals.

Rising Tyde On iTunes

Mannequin Republic’s own rock metal outfit, Trinatyde, are pleased to announce that their brand new recording Rising Tyde is now available on iTunes.

The 10 track album features all new recordings of the band’s first wave of material, including “Message To The Rats” and “Feelings Are Gone”.  Tracks can be purchased individually or you can grab the whole album by direct digital download

New South Wales Was Paradise

As Paradise Falls have returned to Queensland after making the trek through New South Wales at the end of last month.  The band had an excellent time and on behalf of As Paradise Falls, Mannequin Republic would like to thank all you hardcore fanatics that came out to support Brisbane’s premier pop-core band.

Thanks to the promotors of Hot Damn in Sydney, the good people at Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle and of course St. Mary’s Lucky Oz Tavern in Sydney for hosting the band and providing them a venue to showcase their music.

The band also would like to thank Eon O’Brien for taking charge of the long drive and Corinne Leeman of Mutilated Promotions for her part in organising the tour.

We hope As Paradise Falls can come back to New South Wales soon to entertain you all once again.

Get Blunt

Readers of Blunt Magazine already know what an awesome rag it is and this month it’s even better.

Get to your local newsstand as fast as possible and grab issue #111 of Blunt Magazine for another amazing free compilation CD in the Earbleeders series.  This compilation is extra awesome because it features not one, but two Mannequin Republic artists.
