Warning: More Shows Ahead

Another big week of music happening with a stack of awesome live shows coming up.  Here’s a taste of things to come:

Thursday, March 22 at Basement 243 (243 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley), Armada In The Dusk, The Endless Pandemic, I Am Eternal (WA), Averice and Trust And Fall come together for this mega mosh fest featuring some of the hottest underground hardcore, metal and rock acts in the region, plus our special guests from Perth.  See more here.

If that scene’s too loud for you, no worries; on the same night Mannequin Republic, Mvmnt and Warrant Promotions are putting on another indie music night at The Zoo (711 Ann Street, Brisbane) featuring The Boys, Finders Keepers, Willows and Young Griffo.  Come get an earful of Brisbane’s best alternative and indie rock at the city’s hippest venue.  See more here.

On Saturday, March 24, the Sunshine Coast will be bracing themselves for the hardest night of hardcore rock and metal so far this year.  The QCWA Hall (10 Short Street, Nambour) will host an outrageous line up, including Armada In The Dusk, The Endless Pandemic, As Paradise Falls, For Salvage and two special import acts: Paradise In Exile from Perth as part of their tour and The Cavalcade making the journey from Sydney, so show them how we get it done in Queensland!  It’s all ages and it’s going to go off huge.  See more here.

Just added is another awesome show on Saturday, March 24, at Scream Ahead Studios (47 Bunya Street, Eagle Farm), featuring a Mannequin Republic stacked line up of Messiam, Trinatyde, Gathered Below and Hack.  An excellent blend of hardcore, metal and alternative rock.  Just to make it even better, this show is absolutely free!  See more here.

Finally, finish out the week on Sunday, March 25, with a special showcase at the Tempo Hotel (388 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley).  The line up includes Amberain, The Cavalcade (NSW), A Vast Hope and Pandora’s Hero, all very capable bands and sure to put on an awesome show for those of you who want to wander down to The Valley and unwind to the sweet, soothing sounds of heavy, ruthless breakdowns and savage screamo vocals.  See more here.
