Big Weekend Coming Up
The weekend is coming up and this Friday March 16 and Saturday March 17 are going to be jam-packed with awesome live music in the greater Brisbane area. If you’re a fan of metal, hardcore, metalcore, alternative, heavy and loud music, get off the couch and come see what the underground music scene has to offer you.
On Friday, March 16, at the Mount Gravatt PCYC (90 Klumpp Road, Mount Gravatt), the No Salvation Tour rolls into town featuring Aversions Crown and Boris The Blade up from Melbourne. The show is also the official launch party for The Construct’s new EP and features crowd favourites Sevenskies and The Endless Pandemic on behalf of Mannequin Republic. This show is all ages and is guaranteed to be one of the biggest hardcore music concerts Mount Gravatt has seen in ages. Get more info here.
Also on Friday for you fanatics out in Perth, Mannequin Republic’s own Afraid Of Heights is going to be rocking The Den along with Halfmast, Mom, Dad And The Kids, Them Orphans and Adrift starting at 7:00 pm. See more on that show here.
The next day, Saturday, March 17, there’s a whole heap more happening, starting with an all ages romp at Between The Walls (42 Manning Street, South Brisbane) featuring alternative rock outfit Hey Denise, Mannequin Republic’s own experimental-core rockers The Endless Pandemic and the hard and heavy A Vast Hope. Sure to be another awesome all ages gig as only Between The Walls can do it. Grab your mates and head on down. See more here.
And as a special treat for our friends out in Ipswich, Mannequin Republic’s own Trinatyde are going to make the trip down to rock The Racehorse Hotel (215 Brisbane Road, Booval) along with Geomantra, The Scam, 1.1.1. and Mums Tennis Friend for another classic show brought to you by The Pushworth Group. Just to make it even sweeter this show is absolutely free! See more on this show here.
Australian metal is out in full force this weekend, don’t be left out of the mosh pit, get out and be part of your local music scene!
