Common Ground Benefit Show

A friend in need is a friend indeed, and no one comes round to help their mates like us Aussies do.  That’s why on October 8th at the Greenslopes Bowls Club (131 Ridge Street, Brisbane), a whole heap of local artists from every genre imaginable will be coming together to raise some cash for our brothers and sisters that were effected by the earthquakes in New Zealand last year.

The show is all ages (licensed for those over 18) and tickets are only $15 ($12 for students) for 9 hours of live hardcore, punk, rock, metal, hip-hop, experimental and even glam metal bands.

Among the many featured acts are three of our own representing Mannequin Republic; our experimental power-pop-punk-post-hardcore act: Miles and Miles, super-heavy-metalcore upstarts: Gathered Below and the shooting star of the alternative rock scene: Hack.  Plus, see former Jon Experiment members Klint and Loki with their new outfit: Whiskey and Speed.

They’re all itching to put on an awesome show, so tell your mates and show the love because you do not want to miss this one.  Stay for an hours, stay for nine, it’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.  See more here.
