Awesome Shows Everywhere this Saturday

Mannequin Republic fanatics have a lot to look out for this Saturday, August 13th, as a whole slew of shows featuring many of your favourite bands are coming your way.

For fanatics in Ipswich, check out hometown alt-rock-metal heroes, Hack, as they rock the CWA Hall (84 Limestone Street, Ipswich) from 5:00 pm with Only Sleeping, Decades Away and Because of Tomorrow.  This is going to be an awesome all ages show and tickets are only $10 at the door.  Proceeds go to supporting the local special school, so go mosh and feel good about yourself!  See more here.

For fanatics in Yamba, get ready for total destruction as The Jon Experiment roll into the Wooli Street Hall (37 Wooli Street, Yamba) with a bus full of their lunatic friends for Project Yamba 2!  The Party Bus leaves Fortitude Valley train station at 9:00 am, doors open at 5:00 pm, prices are $10 at the door and it’s all ages!  Don’t miss the return of The Jon Experiment.  See more here.

For fanatics in Brisbane, you get an overload of metal and hardcore!  Get yourself to the Greenslopes Bowls Club at 11:00 am for Bris-Vegas’s first ever Whiplash Festival, featuring an insane amount of great bands, including Darker Half, White Circus, Dawn Addicts and our very own The Last Outlaw.  Plus DJs, merch stalls and burlesque dancers!  It’s all ages and tickets are available through Oz-Tix for $25, or get in touch with Tom Byrnes at [email protected] and he’ll hook you up.  See more here.
