Road to Ransome Set To Thrill + More endorsement news

Road to Ransome will be smashing out tunes alongside The Ailment and Torn Asunder on  May 28th at Thriller in Brisbane. This Destroy All Lines event has been the host of many amazing nights of hardcore and the launching pad for many local bands. Get down there and check out the newly signed Road to Ransome.

In other news; Jake Solway from the band is also now endorsed by Saluda Cymbals!

Mannequin Republic is pleased to announce it has formed a partnership with FaceDown Promotions USA. The Colorado based band promotions company will be booking, promoting and helping our bands for future US tours and festivals. We feel it will be a long and fruitful relationship. We’d also like to mention that we will be working with Life of Luxury Clothing UK. We love their designs and hope to make the relationship a full on working one in the near future. With Maxim Scott (Your Demise, Bring Me The Horizon and Drop Dead), Keaton Henson (Cheer Up! and Drop Dead) and Michael Shantz (Many) on board, it is sure to be a huge hit over there and hopefully in the near future, in Australia. HACK Update

HACK are currently in the process of finishing up their heavily anticipated LP, Outlaws.

Simon (Bass) is doing some final mixing and editing. The artwork and photos will be done very soon as well as band merch. HACK would like to thank the supporters for their patience as they work hard to get out their best work to date. Keep an eye out for Outlaws.
Also in the works this coming weekend HACK will be filming their video clip. It’s being kept under wraps so you will all have to wait and find out what track they have chosen for their video clip. It is being filmed by criticly acclaimed company, Trema Productions. Stay tuned.

Hey everyone!

Basement 243 in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane is fast become our homebase. And a home base for all of our bands. The venue has asked Mannequin Republic to provide a booking service for bands and promoters. Using a trusted company like ourselves is already reaping rewards. Make a date in your diaries for May 14 when Warner Music’s Our Last Enemy pass through our town. The gig will be taking place at Basement 243 of course alongisde other metal acts, Shifting the Paradigm, White Circus, The Last Outlaw, and Upside Downside with one more act to be announced.

Mannequin Republic will also be hosting 2 “Side-Lashs'” as part of the Whiplash Festival. One will be at Basement 243 and the other at the newest all ages venue in Brisbane, Sun Distortion in Albion. Stay tuned for details folks!

The Jon Experiment Top Unearthed

Congratulations to The Jon Experiment, who now hold spots 1, 2 and 3 on the Triple J Unearthed Punk Charts. A special thank you to all the supporters who voted and reviewed the tracks.

In the weeks prior to The Jon Experiment making the top of the list, bass player Loki Discordia had been running amok, threatening people with violence and malice if they did not immediately cast votes for the group. Unfortunately, the threats have not stopped.
