The boys from The Last Outlaw are doing it once again for flood relief. On Saturday February 19th they will be on the enormous Queensland Flood Appeal Show at the Greenslopes Bowls Club (131 Ridge Street), just outside the city.
This is an all ages show featuring 26 bands on two stages. Tickets are $15 and kids under 12 get in free! Doors open at noon.

We are two weeks away from what is sure to be one hell of a show. Mannequin Republic presents Punk in the Basement on Friday February 11th at Basement 243 (243 Brunswick Street) starting at 8:00 pm.
Prepare your eardrums for assault as they take on Whiskey & Speed, The Jon Experiment, The Irrits and Hack! These are four awesome bands that deliver the goods and never let you down.
Entry is $10 at the door; a small price to pay for such an awesome night of alternative rock and punk sounds. Bring a friend and have them buy you a beer!

The first Mannequin Republic showcase last Saturday has set the standard very high for the rest of the year despite its early ending.
Thank you to all the fans who turned up and donated to the flood effort. Mannequin Republic is proud to be involved and contribute to the Premiers Disaster Relief Appeal’s $145 million fund.
For those of you who couldn’t make it, you missed excellent performances by The Violet Alibi, The Irrits, Decades Away and The Last Outlaw, who put on another amazing concert.
We would like to apologise to fans of In The Walls who were left out in the cold by the early closure of the venue. Never fear, In The Walls will be back with us again in the near future to rock you senseless.

Last minute reminder that The Last Outlaw and The Jon Experiment will be representing Mannequin Republic tonight at the Queensland Flood Relief Benefit show.
The show is at the Prince of Wales hotel in Nundah (1154 Sandgate Road) and the proceeds will go towards helping those who were affected by the floods. There will be 10 bands tonight, including our good friends the Irrits.
The Last Outlaw take the stage tonight (Tuesday January 25th) at 8:15 pm and are followed by The Jon Experiment at 9:15 pm.

As we all well know, the floods have been all over the news and it’s been terrible. Today Brisbane is set for a huge flood. We’re lucky here at Mannequin Republic HQ. However so many people are not. Our hearts go out to people that have lost loved ones and those that have lost homes. Today Brisbane waits.
Unfortunately we’ve had to cancel a gig or two. Tonight’s 299 show involving, The Last Outlaw, The Violet Alibi, The Ovaries, Hack, and Gathered Below, has been cancelled due to band members being in isolated areas. The Valley is expected to be flooded as well in coming days. We hope that our music community hangs tight and everyone remains safe. The community is banding together as well.
